Marie (Deitz) Hasenour, 90, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004 at 10:15 A.M. at her home in rural Fort Branch, IN.

 

She was born in Ridgeway, IL March 26, 1913.

 

She was a homemaker and farm wife. She also had worked at Emge Meat Packing Co. where she met her husband. Marie lived most of her life in Snake Run. She was a member of the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and the Saint Anne’s Altar Society.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret (Drone) Deitz of Belleville, IL and her son Robert in 2000.

 

Surviving is her husband of 63 years, Bernard, two sons and three daughter-in-laws, Bill and Rita Hasenour, John and Diane Hasenour all of Fort Branch and Nancy Hasenour of Haubstadt, IN.  She also has 9 grandchildren, Scott, David, Laura, and Kara Hasenour all of Haubstadt, Ryan Hasenour of Newburgh, Christine Simmons of New Harmony, Derrick, Grant, and Brittany Hasenour all of Fort Branch.  She also has 5 great grandchildren; two Brothers and one sister, Raymond Deitz of Belleville, IL, Charles Deitz of Bartaslo, IL, and Frances Coffee of Shawneetown, IL.

 

A mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church on Hwy. 168 in Snake Run on Tuesday, Feb, 10, 2004,at 10:00 A.M. Father William Deitsch and Father Tony Ernst will be Celebrants. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

 

Friends may call for visitation on Monday, Feb. 9, 2004 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch. The parish will recite the rosary at 7:30 P.M. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
