Cornelius “Neal” S. Morris, 90, of Fort Branch IN, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at the River Oaks Assisted Living Complex in Princeton, IN.

 

Neal was born to the late Edison and Augusta (Ebrecht) Morris on March 18, 1914 in Elberfeld, IN.

 

Neal was a member of the Princeton Eagles, Princeton Moose, and the Haubstadt American Legion.  He was retired from the Emge Meat Packing Co. and was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S, Army.  He was of the Christian faith.

 

Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by a son, Eddie Ray Morris, who passed away in 2003.

 

Neal is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eunis E. (Besing) Morris; a son, Roger L. Morris of Winterpark FL; 2 daughters Loretta Koberstein of Princeton, IN, and Brenda Lewis of Fort Branch, IN; 9 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.

 

Services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 31, 2004 at the Stodghill Funeral Home Located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, with Reverend Sam Sterrett officiating, burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.

 

Friends may call for visitation on Friday, July 30, 2004 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Fort Branch VFW Post 2714 and the Haubstadt American Legion.
