Arnold (Bud) Ort, age 69, of Fort Branch, Indiana passed away Saturday March 20, 2004 at St Marys Hospital in Evansville.

He was born February 15, 1935 in Piggott, Ark. to the late Lawrence and Adele Ort.

He is preceded in death by his wife Glenda (Ward) Ort on April 2, 1998.

He was retired from Sigeco after 20 years and was a member of the V.F.W. 2714 in Fort Branch and the Princeton Country Club.

He is survived by his son, Robert Ort of Patoka; a daughter Karen Simms of Danville, IL; and 9 grandchildren, Jamie Dale Lashbrook, Nicki Lynn Lashbrook, Dustin Edward Simms, Andrea Nicole Ort, Robby James Ort, Johnnie Marie Ort, Taylor Rae Ort, Nathaniel Wayne Gordon and Tristan James Gordon: a brother Kenneth Ort of McDougal Ark.; and a sister Mary Ann Poole of Memphis, TN.

Friends may call Tuesday March 23, 2003 from 4 to 9 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy 168 West in Fort Branch and from 9 am to service time on Wednesday March 24, 2004.

Services will be at 2PM Wednesday with the Reverned Tarrell Thompson officitating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch.
