Daniel J. Paul, 50, of Fort Branch, IN passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Pope County, IL on Tuesday, March 30, 2004.

 

Dan was born to Leo (Simon) Paul of St. Wendel, IN and the late Evelyn (Siebert) Paul on Feb. 27, 1954 in Evansville, IN.

 

He worked for the Canadian National - Illinois Central Railroad and was a member of the B.M.W.E Local Lodge # 2834. He attended the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Fort Branch, IN.  Dan spent most of his life, involved with his children and was active in FFA, 4-H, as Junior Leader and Boy Scouts.

 

Besides his mother, he is preceded in death by one brother, Mark Paul in 1981.

 

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Karen (Nuebling); 3 children, Megan Faye, Justin Daniel, and Kevin Joseph Paul all at home; his father, Leo (Simon) Paul of St. Wendel, IN; 1 brother, Alvin Paul of Geneva , IL; 3 sisters, Diana Bates of Hendersonville, TN, Brenda Wolfgang of Hendersonville, TN, and Doris Taylor of Evansville, IN; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

 

Services for Dan will be on Sunday, April 4, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Fort Branch, IN, burial will be in the church cemetery.

 

Friends may call for visitation on Saturday, April 3, 2004 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Highway 168 West in Fort Branch, IN.
