Norman E Reed, 88, of Haubstadt, IN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 6, 2006 at Deaconess Hospice Center in Evansville.

Norman was born January 27, 1918 in Pike County, IN to the late Carl and Mary (Simpson) Reed.

He is retired from Emge Meat Packing and is a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton.

He is also preceded in death by a step mother Ethel Garrett Reed and a half sister Juanita Barnett.

Norman is survived by his wife, Mary Lou (Butler) Reed of Haubstadt, IN; a daughter and her husband Irma and Mike Garrett of Haubstadt, IN; 3 grandchildren and their husbands, Andrea and Kenny Carano, Dana and Larry Pleiss, Lee Anne and Brian Gatewood; by Sheri Warren who was like a daughter to him and her husband Jim; 3 great grandchildren Mallory, Alecia and Audrey Pleiss.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Stodghill Funeral Home, with Rev. George Prinzing officiating. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery in Owensville.

Visitation for Norman will be on Wednesday Feb. 8, 2006 at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M and on Friday from 9 am until service time at the funeral home.
