Ruby A. Sollman, 97, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN.  

 

She was born on Nov. 18, 1910 in Hazelton, IN, to the late Herbert and Nellie (Scott) Elliott.

 

She was married to George Wm. Sollman, who preceded her in death on April 2, 1989.  Also she is preceded in death by a son Francis Sollman; a brother and sister, Howard Elliott and Virginia (Elliott) Price.

 

Ruby was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Fort Branch, IN, the St. Paul Women’s Guild, and was the oldest member of the Fort Branch Order of Eastern Star.

 

She is survived by one son, Frank Sollman of Gilbertsville, KY; 1 brother and 2 sisters, John Elliott of Evansville, IN, Dorothy Elliott of Evansville, IN and Anna Willsey of Minoa, NY; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

 

Services for Ruby will be on Monday, Apr. 14, 2008 at the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Fort branch, IN. at 11:00 A.M., the Reverend John Heumann will officiate; burial, will be in the church cemetery.

 

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 13, 2008, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN., where an Eastern Star service will be conducted by the Fort Branch Order of the Eastern Star.  Visitation will continue on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church.
