Viola M. Wilderman, 93, of Fort Branch, IN passed away at the Heritage Hospice Center in Evansville, IN.

 

She was born on June 24th, 1911 to the late Raymond and Clara (Memmer) Strawn in Rural Gibson County.

 

Besides her parent, Viola is preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. Wilderman, who passed away on August 17, 1995; a daughter, Alvera Wagner in 1996; 2 sons, Bob Wilderman in 2003 and Charles Wilderman in 1981; 3 grandchildren, Gary Wagner, Kathy Nichols, and Jacquelyn Seib.

 

Viola was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch and St Bernard Catholic Church in Snake Run, IN, and the St. Bernadette Aux.

 

She is survived by 5 children, Shirley Seib of Alcoa, TN, Mary Goedde of Haubstadt, IN, Rita Thompson of Aitkin, Minn., Albert R. Wilderman of London, OH, and Roger L. Wilderman of Evansville, IN; 29 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren,; and 13 great great grandchildren.

 

A mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, May 27th, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Snake Run, burial will be in the church cemetery. Father Tony Ernst will be the celebrant.

 

Friends may call for visitation on Thursday, May 26th, 2005 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN. A rosary will be recited by the Church parish at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
