John E. Bray Jr., 73, of Princeton passed away on Wednesday January 21, 2009 at the Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

 

He was an inspector with the State Highway Dept. (INDOT) for over 30 years. He also served in the Navy Reserves. He was a member of the VFW #1147, the Sons of the American Legion, Masonic Lodge F&AM #231, Hadi Shrine and the Swords of Bucker Hill. 

He was born on
October 31, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana to John Bray Sr. and Gladys (Dailey) Bray, both deceased. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Donna Kay Bray on March 7, 2008

John is survived by his son, John E. Bray III of Carlisle, In; daughter & son-in-law, Nancy and Steve Wilder of Princeton; 4 grandchildren, John Creek, Colton & E.J. Wilder and Walker Bray. 

Funeral Services will be held at
11:00 AM CST on Saturday January 24, 2009 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. John Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at the Odd Fellow Cemetery in Carlisle, IN.

 

Friends may visit from 4 until 8 PM CST on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home. There will be a Masonic Service on Friday at 7 PM
