Mary Jo (Arburn) Brewster, 81, formerly of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg.

Born July 2, 1927, in Princeton, she was the daughter of Thelma F. Arburn.

She was a 1946 graduate of Princeton High School. On July 18, 1953, she married Wallace E. Brewster in Princeton and resided here until they relocated to Whiteland.

Survivors include daughter, Melinda Shepherd (Charles K.) of Greenwood; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Wallace “Gene” Brewster in 1989; and her mother, Thelma F. Arburn in 2000.

Graveside services were March 7, 2009 at Forest Lawn Memory Garden in Greenwood.
