Ollene Jeanette Burkhart 91 of Oakland City, In. entered rest on Sunday Feb.1, 2009 at 6:30 P.M at Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City.

Was born on May 4, 1917 in Arthur In. to Floyd and Emma (Hunt) Tisdale.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Member of First Church of The Nazarene for approximately 80 years where she taught Sunday School and served on the Church board and many other positions. Also, owned and operated Klip and Kurl beauty shop in her home in Arthur for many years.

She enjoyed singing, fishing, camping and her family and always available to go shopping, baby sit and cook a delicious meal, a very caring and compassionate person who always put others first.

Proceeded in death by husband of 60 years Edward, her parents Emma and Floyd Tisdale, brothers John and Edward Tisdale and sister Ramona Brewster, several nieces and nephews.

Surviving daughter Phyllis (Carol) Kohlmeier of Mackey, In.

Grandchildren: Chris (Kim) Kohlmeier of Oakland City, In. Steve (Vanessa) Kohlmeier and Kimberly Parish of Mackey, IN.

Great Grandchildren: Brandon, Brittaney, Delaney, Samantha, Haley, and Heath Kohlmeier, Quinten Parish.

Sister-In-law: Wanda Tisdale of Princeton, In. and Virginia Simpson of Dale, IN.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday February, 4, 2009 First Church of The Nazarene in Oakland City with Rev. Darin D. Nossett officiating with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:008:00 P.M. Tuesday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 8:00 AM. until services on Wednesday at the church.
