Leslie O. “Buddy” Burns, 83, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009. (Temple Terrace, Florida)

Born April 6, 1926 in Francisco (Indiana)

He was a veteran of World War II serving in the European campaign and a life charter member of VFW Post 1147 in Princeton.

Survivors include his three sons, Leslie Alan, Gary Don, Joe; daughter, Sue; two sisters, Babe and Mary Lou; 13 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Martha “Martie” Burns.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Blount & Curry Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace, Fla. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 U.S. 301 N., Thonotosassa, Fla.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until time of service at the chapel.
