Paul E. Carnahan, 84, passed away on Thursday February 12, 2009 at his home in Hazleton.

 

Paul was a farmer and drove a school bus. He was a member of the Hazleton United Methodist Church. Paul was also a charter member of the Mt. Olympus Lions Club. 

He was born on
March 4, 1924 in Knox County, IN to Arthur & Martha (McCord) Carnahan, both deceased.

 

Also preceding him in death were his wife, Mary Lois Carnahan in 2004; and a sister, Olive Delong. 

He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Janice & Chuck Longabaugh of Hazleton; son, Paul James "Jim" Carnahan of Metropolis, IL; grandchildren, Amanda (Jay) Emmert, Jamie (Andy) Schafer, Stephen (Andi) Longabaugh, and Brandon Carnahan; step grandchildren, Lori Jackson and Jason Krueger; great grandchildren, Grant & Katarina Emmert, Christian & Addison Schafer, Jake & Zak Krueger, and Justin, Joshua and Logan Jackson. 

Funeral Services will be held at
10:00 AM on Tuesday February 17, 2009 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Paul Huntsman officiating. Burial will be at the Hazleton Community Cemetery in Hazleton.

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
