She was born on September 29, 1929 in Princeton, IN to William and. Emma (Jones) Townsend. She retired from Potter Brumfield in Princeton, IN after many years and member of Winslow Church of The Nazarene.

Surviving is her husband of 38 years Norman Conner of Winslow, IN. Daughters: Brenda (Jerry) Pinnell of Oakland City, IN; Linda (Glen) Hamer of Mitchell, IN; Tambra (Mike) DeLong of Plant City, FL; Stacy (Edward) Bolt of Alamogordo, NM; (5) Grandchildren (7) Great Grandchildren. Sister: Anna Belle Copeland of Elliott, Maine

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M.C.D.T. Thursday Feb. 12, 2009 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, IN. with Rev. Garret Sloan officiating.

Burial will follow at Decker Chapel Cemetery near Patoka, IN.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until services on Thursday.
