Edith E. Coomer, 88, passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2009 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. 

She was born Oct. 20, 1920 in Princeton and resided in this area her entire life. She retired from the former Brush Factory in Princeton where she had worked for 28 years.

 Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Everett Coomer; sister, Betty Herrin of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her brother, Sammy Zimmerman and her parents, Cora and Arthur Zimmerman.

 Private funeral services with burial will be at the Odd Fellow Cemetery in Princeton.  Colvin Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
