Ina M. (Hartley) Phillips-Edwards, 73, Anderson, passed away April 8, 2009 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana.

She was born
August 2, 1935 in Patoka, Indiana, and resided in Anderson most of her life.

She was a graduate of
Oakland City High School.

She was a homemaker and had previously worked for the Canteen at Guide Division of General Motors.

She was a member of Florida Station Church of God and was a past member of South Meridian Church of God. She was also a very active member of the First Church of God in Tampa, Florida

She is survived by her husband whom she married on January 16, 2005, Dale Edwards; son, Mike & wife Linda Phillips of Tampa, Florida; her husband's children, Phil Edwards, Pam Keiths and Kathy McCutchon; siblings, Edna & husband Jerry Mahon of Anderson, Mary Herring of San Diego, California, Anna L. Williams of Whitehouse, Tennessee, Leonard & wife Maryann Hartley of Inverness, Florida and Millie & husband Carlos Corzine of Anderson; grandchildren, Sid Giddings, Brian & wife Sara Gidding and Morgan Phillips; great granddaughter, Isabel Giddings; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband whom she married
October 13, 1960, Charles M. Phillips who passed away February 20, 1997 and her parents, Golden & Elva (Slinker) Hartley.

Services will be Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11:00 AM, at Columbia White Church Cemetery-Princeton, Indiana, with Pastor Dave Shirkey officiating.

Burial will be in Columbia White Church Cemetery-Princeton,
Indiana
