Carolyn Rose (Coomer) Lewis, 50, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2009 at her home in Oakland City.

She lived in Oakland City for the past 5 years, coming from Princeton.

She was born on August 25, 1958 in Princeton to Elmer & Helen (Greentree) Coomer, both preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers; Bill, James & Dickie Coomer

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Joe Lewis, Sr. of Oakland City; 3 children, Brady Miller of Arizona, Trena L. Wright of Oakland City; and Bobby Joe Lewis Jr. of Oakland City; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lisa Coomer of Oakland City and Marie Coomer of Illinois; and 2 brothers, David Coomer of Oakland City and Raymond Coomer of Princeton.

There will be no visitation or services. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City is handling arrangements. Private family services will be held at a later date.
