Ronald N. “Rawhide” Martin 68 of Petersburg, IN. entered rest on Monday November 9, 2009 at 3:25 A.M. at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN.

He was born on March 1, 1941 in Ft. Branch, IN to Ora and Margaret “ Romerhausen” Martin.

He drove a truck for 50 years and worked for Gibco Trucking. He was a member of Winslow Eagles, Winslow American Legion Post #115

Surviving family includes his wife of 21 years the former Toni “Johns” Martin. Daughters: Cindy Hull of Princeton, IN, Lora Miller of Oakland City, IN, Kelly Farmer of Winslow, IN. Son: Jason Decker of Winslow, IN. Twelve grandchildren.

Brothers: Joe Martin of Washington, IN, Donald Martin of Francisco, IN, and Otis “Sodie” Martin of Johnson, In. Sisters: Nola Aldridge and Margaret Wagner both of Bruceville, IN, Linda Faulkner of Ft. Branch, IN, Nina Brown, of Copperas Cove, Texas and Janetta King of Ft. Branch, IN.

Funeral services will be Thursday November 12,2009 10:00 A.M. C.D.T. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Knights Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Pat McCandless will officiate.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 P.M.C.D.T. and from 8:00A.M. until service on Friday.
