Kenneth B. Meade, 88, Vincennes, formerly of Mount Olympus, passed away Friday, May 29, 2009 at BridgePointe Health Campus.

Born Sept. 5, 1920 in Gibson County, he was the son of William and Edith (Sibert) Meade.

He retired in 1983 from Kimball in Jasper and farmed in his earlier years, mostly in Gibson County. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II.

Survivors include his friend, Betty Blann of Vincennes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Glenn Meade.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. EST, Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Mount Olive Cemetery in Mount Olympus.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. EST at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., Vincennes.
