Marie E. Oexmann, 88, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.

Born Jan. 12, 1921 in Decker, she was the daughter of George and Josephine (Hoffman) Hacker.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Evansville.

Survivors include son, Larry (Donna) Oexmann of Georgetown; daughter, Sharon (Gerald) Bilskie of Covington, Ga.; brothers, Harlan (Ruth) Hacker of Fort Branch, Robert (Bernie) Hacker of Edina, Minn.; sister, Helena Morrison of Evansville; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Walter Oexmann.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. (EST) Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown. Burial will be in Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
