Earl Everett Sharp, Jr., 53, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. 

He was born
Sept. 8, 1955 in Frankfort and resided in Princeton for 25 years, coming here from Monticello. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a masonry contractor.  He attended Fair Haven Church in Cynthiana and helped with mission trips to Mexico, cooking for the people.

 Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Jamie Sharp; daughters, Angel Helm, Jennifer Sharp both of Princeton; four grandchildren; mother, Phyllis Sharp of Lafayette; brother, Mark Sharp of Arkansas; five sisters, Sherrie Mullett of Missouri, Vickie Davis of Michigantown, Terri Bell, Tracey Katter and Teresa Deanstestetter all of Lafayette,

 He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Everett Sharp, Sr.

 Graveside services will be at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009 at Columbia “White” Church Cemetery in Princeton, with Pastor Mike Douglas officiating. Burial will follow the service.  V.F.W. Post 1147 will provide military rites.

Visitation will be from
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
