Lonie L. Davis, 101, of Francisco, passed away on
Lonie was born
She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting,
crocheting and growing flowers.
She is survived by her three sons and
daughters-in-law, Eddie (Ruthann) Davis, Walter Vernon (Sharon) Davis both of
Princeton, Melvin (Doris) Davis of Tennessee; three daughters and son-in-law,
Bettie Fritz of Evansville, Shirley Strickland of Oakland City, Joyce (Danny)
Young of Princeton; daughter-in-law, Minnie Davis of Fort Branch; two sisters, Elnora Oakley and Ida Mae Gibson both of
Madisonville, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren;
She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Basil E. Davis in 1978; three sons, Jerry, Gene and Coleman
Davis; son-in-law, Norman Strickland; brothers, Kester
and Thomas Gipson; sister, Bertha Givens; grandchildren, Glenn Matthews, Penny
Johnson; and great grandson, Chance Matthews.
Per Mrs. Davis’ request, private
