Gary Gordon “Gator” Hurst, 54, formerly of Princeton, passed away Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011 at VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.

Born Oct. 13, 1956 in Princeton, he was the son of Warren and Betty Hurst. 

He was a tool and die maker at Hurst Manufacturing for 20 years and then became a truck driver.

 Survivors include his parents; wife, Tracey (Cook) Hurst of Petersburg; sister, Anita (Jerry) Simpson; a nephew and great nephew, Andrew and Lukas York.

 Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2011 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Steve Akins officiating.  Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery. 

Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
