Arthur "Art" Alan Mitchem 61, of Princeton passed away on Wednesday December 22, 2010 in Princeton. He had lived in Princeton for 25 years coming from Evansville. He was born November 12, 1949 in Evansville. He was a member of the Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton.

He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Mitchem.

He is survived by his wife, Madalyn "Maddy" Gay Mitchem of Princeton; daughter, Sara of Florida; mother, Joyce E. Newman; sister, Joyce Ann Smidley of Poland, IN; and brother, Brent Lee Mitchem of Tulsa, OK.

There will be a memorial service at Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton on Saturday January 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
