Frances L. Denton, 82, of Princeton, passed away Monday, Feb.28.2011 at 10:28 P.M. at home.

Born Sept. 24, 1928 in Pike County, she was the daughter of Aaron and Rosa (Bass) Nalley.

She loved to play bingo and pull-tabs.

Survivors include children, Donald Ray Denton of Oakland City, Judy McCrary of Athens, Ala., Bob (Cheryl Denton of Martinsville, John (Debra) Denton of St. Charles, Mo., Sue Rutka of Princeton, Janice (Lloyd) Riley of Petersburg, Charlie (Debra) Denton of Jasper,Willie Denton of Oakland City, Jeff (Toni) Denton of Mt. Vernon, Ind., Debbie (Mike) Sokeland of Fort  Branch; sister, Mary Thompson of Fort Branch; 28 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; a  son, George Denton in 1983 and husband, David Denton in 1988.

 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City with the Rev.Fred Denton officiating. Burial will be in  Blackfoot Cemetery near Coe.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday at the chapel.
