Eddie H. McNew, 74, Mackey, died Sunday, Feb. 13, at his home.

He was born in Oakland City June 12, 1936, son of Arvel and Katie (Aldstat) McNew.

He was an Army veteran and retired from Smith Kline Beacham in Evansville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Carol McNew.

Surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Winslow. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel of Oakland City is handling arrangements.
