Anita J. White, 80, a life resident of Patoka, passed away Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 at Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton.

Anita was born Nov. 2, 1930 in Patoka to Hershel and Bernice (Eldridge) Hyneman.

She was a member of the Patoka United Methodist Church and the Patoka Order of Eastern Star 281.

 She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Melanie White of Patoka; daughter and son-in-law, Jeannine and Jimmy Lee Miller of Patoka; four grandchildren, Neali Bell, Honey White, Travis, J.D. Miller; eight great-grandchildren, Chase Scobbo, Cydney, Connor, Camden, Amera and David Miller, Niya and Kira Bell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne on Feb. 20, 1980; sisters, Lillian Pelzer, Laura Manning, Hazel Degenhart; and brothers, Willis and Meredith Hyneman

 Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Daniel Payton officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka. 

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Colvin Funeral Home.  Patoka Order of Eastern Star 281 will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
