Georgia A. Bryant, 63, of Haubstadt, formally of Fort Branch and Princeton, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at home after a long illness.

Born July 27, 1947 in Evansville, she was the daughter of George and Jean (McLamore) Sylvia.

She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church, where she taught sunday school and where she also played and directed the church choir.

She also enjoyed knitting with her many church friends.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Bryant of Haubstadt; three children, Christopher (Monica) Bryant of Fort Branch, Gayle M. (David) Lewis of Fort Branch, Jason A. (Brandy) Bryant of Haubstadt; her step mother, Windler Sylvia of Evansville; a brother, Richard Coomer of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Kathy Sylvia of Kuttawa, Ky., Sheila Sylvia of Evansville; eight grandchildren, Hannah, Owen, and Riley Bryant, Jesse and Thomas Lewis, Noah, Gabe, and Tessa Bryant; one step-grandchild, Paige Lewis; and a special aunt, Irene Callis.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Stodghill Funeral Home on Ind. 168 West in Fort Branch with the Rev. Danny Walker and Rev. Jarmon Perkins officiating.

Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch.

Visitation will 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the funeral home.
