Aaron Thomas Compton, 30, formerly of Oakland City, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 in Cannelton,

 He was born July 4,1980 in Elizabethtown Ky.

Survivors include his parents, Elizabeth and Mark Thomas of Pendleton, Ky.; sister, Kimberli (Gavin) Dupps of Oakland City; step sisters, Tiffany (Ryan) Taylor of Walkerton, Shay (Nathan) Phillips of Francisco; step brother, Brian (Jennifer) Thomas of Elberfeld;  several nieces, nephews; and grandparents.

He was preceded in death by his father, Danny T. Compton; and grandparents.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City with the Rev.Mark Sanders officiating.

Burial will be in Glen Dean Cemetery in Glen Dean, Ky.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and again from 10 a.m. until noon on Friday at Goshen Baptist Church in Glen Dean, Ky.
