Mary E. Miller, 84, a lifetime resident of Princeton, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Waters of Princeton. 

She was born June 26, 1926 in Princeton to Alva and Hattie (Fletcher) Shanks. 

Mary was a homemaker and did babysitting most of her life. She attended Oasis Assembly of God in Princeton.

 Mary is survived by nieces and nephews, Laura (Mark) Davis, Rex “Bud” Passwater, James (Sherry) Passwater, Sharon (Randall) Garrett, Thomas Shanks, Patricia House, Dave Shanks, Linda Cuzzort, Jan Dill, Van Shanks, Carolyn (Miller) Ivy, Robert (Darlene) Miller, Max (Robin) Miller; several great nieces and nephews; a cousin, Wanda Smith; best friends, Diane and J. R. Jines and Cheri Page, Dan and Shirley Jenkins.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Clarence”PeteTepe; second husband, Charles E. Miller; a sister, Laura M. Passwater; half-brothers and sisters, Paul, Alva “Bud” and Claude Shanks, Lester and Glen Earls, Helen Beaver and Bessie Ritchie.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m .Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton, with Pastor Mike Marsh officiating with burial to follow.

There will be no visitation.  Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for services.
