Elizabeth “Betty” Brown, 81, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011 at her home in Princeton.

She was born Aug. 17, 1929 in Gibson County to Jesse and Flossie (Snyder) Mounts.

 She lived in Princeton most of her life. She retired from Midstates Rubber Products, Inc. in 1995.  She was a member of the VFW 1147 Auxiliary.

 She is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Jackson) Martin and Suetta Dillon of Princeton, Sandy (Nick) Shoultz of Francisco; brothers, Harold (Betty) Mounts of Princeton, Virgil (Evelyn) Mounts of Patoka; sisters, Mary Johnson and Henrietta Bassett of Princeton, Loretta (Bill) Chapman of Patoka, Roberta Wall of Fort Branch, Beulah (Patrick) Briggs of Princeton; sister-in-law, Eleanor Mounts of Owensville; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Judy McVeigh.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Brown in 1997; a brother, Walter Mounts and a special aunt Ann Jones.

 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday April 7, 2011 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Robert McDonald officiating. Burial will be at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home.
