Wilbur "Web" Dick, 93, formerly of Hazleton, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City.

Born Aug. 28, 1917, in Knox County, he was the son of Thomas and Laura (Mayall) Dick.

He was a farmer, and also worked at the Purina Feed Mill in Hazleton. He served as town marshal and was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.

Survivors include his daughter, Betty Jo (Charles) Wright of Monroe City; sons, Robert (Margaret) Dick of Mooresville,  Boyd Eugene Dick, Sr. of Washington, Ind., Perry (Evelyn) Dick of Lebanon, Ohio; foster daughter, Charlotte Samsil of Plant City, Fla.; daughters-in-law, Connie Dick and Susan Dick; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Chlora (Hedge) Dick, who he married Oct. 29, 1940; sons, Freddie Ray, James, Jerry and Wilbur Dick; five brothers; and a sister.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. in Vincennes. Burial will be in the Dick Cemetery.
