Clifton Ray Morton, 76, of Winslow, passed
He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War and retired after 26 years from Old Ben Coal Co. He was a member of U.M.W.A Local 5179.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Helen (Russell) Morton; daughters, Teresa Riech of Princeton, Suzi (Bryan) Robinson of Indianapolis, Angie Owens of Winslow; sons, Roger Morton of Lake Worth, Fla., Larry (Becky) Morton of Winslow, Randy Morton of Oakland City, Tim Morton of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers, Gene Morton of Beattyville, Ky., Dennis Morton of Winslow; sister, Anna Lee Ennis of Winslow; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Harold and Wendel Morton; and sister, Donna Mae Morton.
Funeral services will be at (eastern) Thursday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in
Visitation will be from Wednesday and from until the service hour on Thursday at the chapel.
