Earl E. Ford, 95, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton.

He was born Dec. 15, 1915 in Gibson County to Mark and Nannie (Whiting) Ford. 

He lived in Gibson County and farmed all of his life.  He was a member of the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Mt. Olympus.  He was a member of Farm Bureau Co-op and the Mt. Olympus Lions Club.

He is survived by his son, Roger W. (Wanda) Ford of Newburgh; daughter, Wanda L. (Charles) Schmits of Fort Branch; seven grandchildren Jacie Tomes, Charlena Gehl, Andy Schmits, Kelly Ford, Tracy Ford, Ashley Pastore, and Emily Day; seven great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Mark Ford Jr. of Robinson, Ill. and Joe Ford of Poseyville.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Catherine J. Ford in 1994; sisters, Pauline Harbison, Mary Helen Schroeder, Lois Block; brothers, Jerauld, Ernest and Ralph Ford.

 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Michael E. Tarner officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus

Visitation will be from 4–8 p.m. Friday at Colvin Funeral Home.
