Herman “Jack” Horrall, 75, of Hazleton, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011 at home. 

Born June 20, 1935 in Decker he was the son of Herman and Christine (Keepus) Horrall.

He was a lifelong area resident, local farmer and logger for many years and was an active sponsor of the 4-H Beef and Poultry Show. 

On Nov. 23, 1960, in Princeton, he married Jane Garwood.

Survivors include his wife Jane of Hazleton; daughters, Mary (Eric) Carter of Decker Chapel, Martha (Randy) Penner of Owensville; grandchildren, Zach and Hunter Carter of Decker Chapel; and special cousin, Velma Spain of Princeton.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Michael Dewey Jack Carter.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. (central) Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Doyle Funeral Home, 520 S. Main St. in Princeton with the Rev. Curt Beadles officiating.  Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Hazleton.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. (central) Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the funeral home.
