Doris Rae “Doady” Couch, 87, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2011 at VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.

She was born March 17, 1924 in Princeton

She was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton.

She was a pink lady at the former Wirth Hospital and Gibson General Hospital.  She also was a member of the Gibson County Roadrunners camping club.  Doady and her husband, Clyde were winter residents at the Leisure Time Park in Bonita Springs, Fla.

 She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Clyde Couch of Princeton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Gayle Ann (Stan) Jochum of Jasper, Pamela Sue (Stan) Farlow of Columbus, Ohio, Karen Kay (Dennis) Burns of Princeton; seven grandchildren, Sean Jochum, Jacob and Clayton Farlow, Debi Williams, Amy Cameron, Shannon Meador; Mary McGarvey; and three great grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Gorham; her mother and step-father, Amy Gorham Rees and Rodney Rees; brother, Mervil Gorham; and sister, Myrtle Lee Gorham Lukens.

 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Darrell Hillhouse officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Colvin Funeral Home.
