Martha Jane Wright, 81 of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at her home after a long battle with cancer.

She was born July 20, 1929 in Princeton to Bernard and Elizabeth Arvin.

She lived in Princeton most of her life where she worked at Potter & Brumfield, Siemens Manufacturing Co. for more than 40 years.

 Martha Jane was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton.  She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and camping.

 She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, George and Linda Wright of Pekin; four grandchildren, Amanda (Rick) Coddens of Indianapolis, Aaron (Aimee) Reel of Jeffersonville, Samantha (Phil) Valbert of Borden, Casandra (Craig) Johnston of Bloomington; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Angeline Fithian of Round Rock, Texas.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Fred Wright in 2007; and a sister, Mildred Jean Lutz.

 Graveside services will be at at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Princeton, with Father Ronald Zgunda officiating. Those attending should meet at the cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
