Iva K. “Kathy” Brown, 67, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. 

Born June 26, 1944, she was the daughter of Curtis and Alice Bray.

 She was a factory worker in Mt. Carmel for many years and worked at the former Pantry Convenience Store on West Broadway Street for several years.  She was an avid Bingo player.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis J. Brown, of Princeton; two sons, Robert Alan Vest, of Shelbyville, Dennis E. (Kay) Brown, of Somerville; a daughter, Tammy Bolington, of Princeton; a sister, Sue Helsley, of Greenfield, seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Colvin Funeral Home, in Princeton with Dr. Gene Siverly officiating. Burial will follow at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
