Georgia Louise Kramer, 77, of Fort Branch, passed away peacefully at home in Fort Branch with her family by her side on Saturday, July 2, 2011.

Born Jan. 23, 1934 in Gibson County, she was the daughter of Ray and Rosina Jaquemai.

Louise was a 1951 graduate of Princeton High School and was  employed at Princeton Telephone Co. and Whirlpool Corp. She was an active member of St. Paul's UCC and a 25 year member of Fort Branch 455 OES. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, camping, fishing and watching St. Louis Cardinal baseball.

She is survived by four children, Lisa Burger of Fort Branch, Kevin (Jenny) Kramer of Patoka, Kelly (Ellen) Kramer of Fort Branch, Keith (Dee) Kramer of Sellersburg; seven grandchildren, Kris and Katie Kramer of Patoka, Kyle, Kurt and Kasey Kramer of Fort  Branch, Kelsea and Kendra Kramer of Sellersburg; her sister Anna Mae Akers of Princeton; numerous nieces and nephews; and her cherished pet, Curley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother John;  and her husband of 57 years, Marvin Noble Kramer in September of 2010.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Stodghill Funeral Home on Ind. 168 West in Fort Branch. Burial will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. An Eastern Star service will take place at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Dr. Stephens and his staff, VNA Hospice (especially Wendi, Shirley and Debbie), and her caregivers Wanda, Linda, Diane, and Karen for all of their care and support.
