Alice B. Richeson, 96, of Winslow, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 at home.

Born April 20, 1915 in Ayrshire, she was the daughter of Odis and Melissa  (Sullivan) Black.

Survivors include a sister, Enida Woodford Petersburg; two grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Arthur Whitman; son Jerry Whitman; second husband of 56 years, Leon Richeson; and brothers, Neval and Sidney Black; sister, Genevive Hopkins; and granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. (central) Monday, July 17, 2011 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jason Clark officiating. Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery. .

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour at the chapel.
