Mary Jane Black, 84, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City.

She was born June 8, 1927 in Francisco to James and Minnie (Raibourn) Hopkins.

 She was a homemaker and had worked at Potter & Brumfield in Princeton and Goodwill of Evansville.    

 She is survived by her son Robert Black of Somerville; daughter, Annette (Richard) Thurston of Somerville; four grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Black, Aaron Thurston and fiancée April Stuckey, Chandra (Matt) Phillips, Amber (Shawn) Shoultz; seven great grandchildren, Abigail, Alyssa, Arik, Jordan, Shawna, Addisen, McKenna;  and several nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; and seven brothers.

 Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Gary Arnold officiating. Burial will be at the Forsythe Cemetery in Oakland City.

Friends may visit from noon until service time on Monday at Colvin Funeral Home.
