Angela S. (Sollman) Lamey, 57, of Haubstadt passed away Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011 at Deaconess Health South in Evansville.

Born July 13, 1954 in Evansville, she was the daughter of Marlin and Eljean (Benkert) Sollman.

She was a member of the St James Catholic Church in Haubstadt and worked as a secretary for Scotty’s Lawn and Garden in Haubstadt. She loved her farm, family, flowers, county music and her work. She loved to cook where she decorated beautiful cakes. She was a wonderful mother, sister, daughter and her granddaughters were the love of her life.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Kent (Macy) Lamey of Haubstadt; two granddaughters, Mikayla and Klaire Lamey of Haubstadt, her parents Marlin  and Eljean Sollman of Haubstadt; six brothers and three sisters; Darryl (Angie) Sollman of Hazelton, Christia (Guy) Garrison of Evansville, Michelle (Ben) Berning of Evansville, Randy (Patty) Sollman, Marlene Sollman, David Sollman, Ed (Nikki) Sollman, Daniel (Laura) Sollman, Mike (Kathy) Sollman all of Haubstadt; a brother-in-law, Mark Hish of Evansville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary L Lamey in November 2008; a brother, Mark Sollman; sister Teresa Hish; and an infant sister, Darlene Sollman

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 z.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 at St James Catholic Church in Haubstadt with Father Kenneth Betz as the celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 at Stodghill Funeral Home on Ind. 168 West in Fort Branch and again from 9 a.m. until the service hour Saturday at the church. A rosary will be recited prior to mass at the church on Saturday.
