Harold P. Mounts, 85, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

He was born on Sept. 5, 1925 in Gibson County to Jessie and Flossie (Snyder) Mounts. 

He retired in 1990 after 43 years at Emge Meat Packing Co.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.  He was a member of the VFW Post 2714 in Fort Branch.  He was an avid golfer.

 He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Mounts of Princeton; two daughters, Connie Sue Grubb and Jane Ann (Keith) Fisher both of Princeton; four grandchildren, Tina (Curtice) Riley, Jessie Fisher, Johnnie Grubb and Christie Bonny; four great grandchildren, Calissia, Janissa and Yves Bonny and Jacob Riley; brother, Virgil Mounts of Patoka; and five sisters, Mary Johnson, Henrietta Bassett and Beulah Briggs all of Princeton, Loretta Chapman of Patoka and Roberta Wall of Fort Branch.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Walter Mounts; and a sister, Betty Brown.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Louie Pantelis officiating.  Burial will be at the White Church Cemetery in Princeton.  Military graveside services will be conducted by VFW Post 1147.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
