Donald Jene Reynolds, 56, passed away Aug. 16, 2011, in Pampa, Texas.

He was born April 12, 1955, in Mt. Carmel, Ill. He was raised in Crawleyville. He attended Owensville School.

He was an oilfield worker and a crane operator in Florida, where he helped build The Tree of Life at Disney World. He enjoyed motorcycles and was a NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his companion, Helen Gabriel of Pampa; two daughters, Crystal Reynolds of Benton, Ill., Debbie Reynolds of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; nine grandchildren; mother and step-father, Roxanna (McCarty) Beard and Don Beard of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Glenn and Steven Beard of Houston, Jeff Reynolds of California; two sisters, Sharron Beard Cothran of Houston and Tina Reynolds of California; and several aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Reynolds;  grandparents, Wallace and Grace McCarty, Minnie Reynolds and Jerome Reynolds.

A memorial service for family and friends will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 at Crawleyville on the Wabash River.
