Jill (Hardin) Barrera, 34 of Princeton, Indiana passed away peacefully in her sleep to her heavenly home on Monday, September 5, 2011 in Princeton. She was born August 7, 1977 in Evansville to David and Harriett (Lowe) Hardin. Jill graduated in 1995 from Wood Memorial High School. She was an accomplished musician; she played the flute, piccolo and piano. She had a beautiful alto voice and enjoyed singing.

She is survived by her parents, David and Harriett Hardin of Francisco; sister, Laura Hardin of
Greenfield; brothers, Dustin Hardin of Evansville and John Hardin of Princeton; grandmothers, Imogene Houghland and Helen Hardin; grandfather, Jerry Ott; uncle, Charles Hardin; aunts, Cindy Hardin and Sue Hardin; several cousins; 1 niece and 3 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary (Gentry) Ott; grandfathers, Richard Lowe, Herbert Charles Hardin and Wm. David Houghland; and an uncle, Richard Hardin.

Graveside Services will be held at
3:30 PM on Friday September 9, 2011 at Francisco I.O.O.F Cemetery with Rev. Mike Marsh officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 1 PM until 3 PM on Friday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.

Jill was a Juvenile Diabetic and was on dialysis the last 3 years. Every day she was alive was a miracle, and she brought joy into many peoples lives.
