Vaughn Oliver Glenn 68, of Princeton passed away on Sunday September 25, 2011 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

He was born on August 16, 1943 in Gibson County, IN to Harding and Alberta (Crouch) Glenn. 

He lived in Princeton most of his life and retired as an engineer from the Norfolk Southern Railroad after over 30 years.

He was in the U.S. Air Force.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 25 and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

He is survived by his wife Betty Glenn of Princeton; 2 daughters, Veronica Bourassa of Princeton and Rebecca Glenn of St. Francisville, IL; 2 step-daughters, Linda Collins of Princeton and Judy Parmenter of West Palm Beach, FL; 3 grandchildren, Ariel Payne Whitfield of Princeton, Justin N. Hill of Princeton and Amelia Collins of Evansville; 6 great grandchildren, including Tommy Jones Payne, Tyne Jones Payne, Krislyn Hill and Talon Thomas Hill; and a brother, Frank (Shirley) Glenn of Mt. Carmel, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jean Vickers and Mildred Debes; brother, Jerry Glenn; and two half sisters and a half brother.

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Larry Meadows.  Burial will follow. 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.  Military graveside services will be conducted by VFW 1147.  Family will meet at the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
