Blonnie Acton (30 Mar 1935 – 8 Oct 2011)

Blonnie Elizabeth Acton, age 76, of Haubstadt, passed away Saturday, October 08, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Blonnie was an active member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church where she produced the bulletin for many years. She had worked as an inside sales representative for Indiana Tube for 13 years and for Mead Johnson as a receptionist.

Surviving Blonnie are her husband of 40 years, Ray Acton; a son and his wife, Hector and Guimel Acton of San Angelo, TX; two sisters, Judy Reburn of Mt. Carmel, IL and Karren Humphrey of Kuttawa, KY; a brother, Robert Adams of Newburgh and two grandchildren, Natasha and Miguel Acton.

Blonnie was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Rev. Tony Ernst officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Monday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday at Sts. Peter and Paul.
