Darlene Bottoms, 64, of Winslow, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.

She was born Dec. 31, 1946 in Oakland City to Landis Powers and Evelyn McCandless.

She was a member of Muren Church Of God and a graduate of Ivy Tech. She worked at Powers Café and Riley’s Dinner most of her life.

Survivors include her husband, Gene A. Bottoms; son,  David (April) Powers of Winslow; step-sons, Alan (Joanie) Bottoms of Princeton,  Jason (Trish) Bottoms of Winslow; grandchildren, Dillion, Brooke, Miranda, Tristen and Troy Powers; step-grandchildren, Cambron, Tyler, Remington, Kylan and Allsya Bottoms; brother, Landis K. Powers of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Candace Winkler, Alanna Powers and Debbie (Kevin) Wallace of Oakland City; four nieces; and three nephews,

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. (central) Saturday Oct. 8, 2011 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Clint Woolsey officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the chapel.
