Linda D. Sebring, 66, of Angola, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.

 

She was born July 30, 1945, in Louisville, Ky., to Claude and Nelle (Harris) Davis.

She was married July 31, 1975, to Lynn G. Sebring.

 

She was a retired librarian, and substituted at several public schools. She also taught for the Dept. of Defense in Germany. She earned bachelor and master’s degrees from Purdue University. She was a member of Fairview Missionary Church in Angola, Tri Kappa Sorority and several sewing clubs.

 

Survivors include her husband; her father, Claude Davis of Princeton; two daughters, Karen McCrumb of Auburn, Amy (David) McMillen of Angola; a brother, Bruce Davis of Princeton; two sisters, Claudia (Daniel) Pear of Peru, Suzanne (Rich) Rudman of West Lafayette; and eight grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother; and a granddaughter.

 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Fairview Missionary Church in Angola with the Rev. Norm Fuller officiating. Burial will follow at Circle Hill Cemetery in Angola.

 

Visitation is from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Weicht Funeral Home in Angola.
