Ellen Gail Watson, 51, passed away, Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at Gibson County Hospital

 

She was born Oct. 21, 1960 in East St. Louis to Dorris Curtis and Valada Eileen (Hughes) Randolph. 

 

Ellen worked at Whirlpool Corp. for 17 years until retiring as head operator.  She was a member of First Christian Church in Owensville.  She loved fishing and her dog, Bieker. Ellen had a kind and caring heart for others and was a member of the Chocolate Mafia, and said “never get between a woman and her chocolates.”

 

Survivors include her fiancé, John W. Poston, of Fort Branch, and his children, Sonya A. Burns, Joshua J. Poston, Alyssa A. Poston; sister, Doris Olivaz; brothers, Robert Randolph, Jerry Randolph, Kenneth Randolph, all of Evansville, Charles Randolph, of Quinlin, Texas, David Randolph; a niece, Terri Randolph, of Evansville; and several other nieces and nephews.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorris and Valada Randolph.

 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Chapel, 100 E Columbia St., Evansville, (812) 424-9274, with Bart W. Newton will officiating.  Burial will be in Owensville Cemetery.

 

Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
