M. Louise (Myers) Holderbaugh, 94, passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at the Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility.

 

She was born Aug. 28, 1917 in Carmi, Ill., to Felix and Bertha (Mills) Myers.

 

She had lived in Princeton for over 50 years, previously living in the Carmi and the St. Louis areas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Golden Fleece Order of Eastern Star in Princeton.

 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Ray Tackett of Princeton; two grandchildren, Alesia (Steve) Taylor, Princeton and Mike Frederick, Phoenix, Ariz.; and one great-grandchild, Laura Taylor.

 

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Bertha Myers; husband, Lewis Holderbaugh in 1973, brothers, Glenn "Soup" Myers, Harry "Butch" Myers, Clarence "Dutch" Myers, Felix "Skeet" Myers; sisters, Mary Kallenbach, Verla Peterson and Orila "Rill" Stills.

 

Funeral services will be held at the graveside 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011 at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton, with Rev. Darrell Hillhouse officiating. Burial will follow the services.

 

There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
